It was my first service experience. I was greeted by a nice young man who walked me over to have a seat in lobby. He said a service advisor would come there to meet me. I waited over an hour. Finally went back to the valet and they said that my car paperwork was not submitted to the service advisor. After a few minutes I was escorted over to Mark’s office. It was now 3:45 and Mark said there would not be enough time plus I had 2 issues I wanted checked. He offered me a loaner which was fine with me but it was due to mistake by Lexus service department. The next day I called at 3:15. Car still not ready. Mark left me a message today (Friday). My appointment was 2pm Wednesday. I do not feel I should have had to stop at a gas station for 3/4 gallon of gas I used to drive home and back. I can understand if I was driving around with the car, but it was a real inconvenience and I wasn’t too impressed by my first service experience. Also I have only put 3,000 miles on the car. I’m sure it wasn’t necessary for $400 in add on services Mark told me about. I felt like I was being sold something when I just wanted my car serviced as part of the Certified package I purchased 6 months earlier. Given the mess up with me sitting there for 1.5 hours for nothing, a more apologetic approach would have been appreciated. Everything else was great and I love the car! Thank you
