I made an appointment and requested a loaner car. I waited 1 hour, 10 minutes to be served. You were out of loaner cars so I had to wait. The wait turned into 3.5 hours and there was no time for the promised car wash. Thankfully Tyler comp'd my oil change which made the day slightly less disagreeable. Please tell the appointment person to pay attention to customer's needs.

Don’t need to be contacted. Service was fine but had to wait for a service rep. Was told they were at lunch and “this happens a lot”. My second poor experience. Your system for checking in, checking out and payment is inefficient. Follow Toyota/Infiniti examples…centralized front counter staffed with reps. Check in and out, pay at one location instead of back and forth to offices, waiting rooms and payment counter. Another trek for a loaner car. Your system is “silos” with no one able or willing to communicate.

Waited for over 35 minutes before Service Rep called me after arriving on time for appointment. Vanessa did a good job. Also, no place for customers to sit after told to go inside. Later Vanessa showed me where new eating area is.
41/2 hours later the oil change and coolant were done and the tires rotated. Too many appointments I guess for the 9 AM slot.
Thanks for the free sandwich.

I drive up from San Diego to go to Lexus Escondido because of speed of service. When I made my 30k service appointment by phone, I was not told this would be an extra long (4 hour) service, even when I was asked if I would wait or require a loaner. I responded that I would wait, because generally getting a loaner for a 2 hr or less service appointment is unnecessary since it would be wasteful to drive back to san diego during that time. If I had known this appointment would take half the day, I would've made other arrangements or requested a loaner. As it happened, I drove from San Diego to Escondido only to find out the service would be at least 4 hours and no loaners were available, and no Uber service is offered by Lexus (as it is by many other dealers). I had a lot of business to take care of in San Diego and would've made different arrangements had I been provided this information ahead of time. Very disappointed with this lack of communication. I had to skip my 30k service and use my 40k service to try to get out in a reasonable amount of time, and it still took 3 hours. I'd rather take my car to Jiffy Lube.
