My only complaint is the lack of communication from Tyler. I dropped off my car on Saturday at 8:30. I was told I’d have to leave it there until Monday for the manager’s approval to not charge me since I’ve only had my car since 11/2 and noticed the brakes were squeaking. No call Monday morning and I had rescheduled some appointments to be able to pick up my car. I had to call and leave 2 voicemails on Monday to get an update. Had to call that afternoon to find out I would get my car on Tuesday. At another Lexus dealership, where I purchased my first Lexus, the service department always kept me informed of service status. Even a brief text would’ve sufficed so I’d know how to plan my days. Everything else, from car drop off to rental pickup to the crew who checks you in, was outstanding. Thank you.

I hbd been coming to this dealership since we moved to San Diego in 2015. All services for my car have been through this dealerships Service Center. Along the way I have a had couple of bumps in the road like, brake fluid cap left off after my service, custom floor mats went missing after my last appointment, and recently my pink valve stem cover from my tire replacement went missing (wasn’t on the car when I picked it up), and the detail I paid for, was subpar. I contacted Tyler to see what the deal was and he stated he would look into it for me, suggesting it was on the spare. We looked on the spare and it wasn’t there, relayed that Tyler and haven’t heard anything back. I’m very dismayed at the decline of customer service over the years and am wondering if it is even worth it to use your dealership anymore for my service needs. The missing floor mats from my last visit really set the tone with me. All I got in response was “Oh I’m sorry that happened, I don’t know how that could’ve happened. I am friends with the salesman who sold me the vehicle and I knew the Sewell Lexus Service Manager who ordered and owned the car before me, so I know what my floor mats looked like and they aren’t the cheap ones that are in my car now. Had I not got my state inspection, how long would’ve I drove around with my brake fluid cap completely off and sitting to the side? Granted Rachel Kurtis handled this for me however, this is another example of low quality service, with a dealership who prides themselves on their stellar customer service. My car is paid off and I can choose to go anywhere I want for service, but I chose Lexus of Escondido due to your claimed high expectation. Rachel Kurtis is truly missed because since she left I have yet to have someone looo out for my cars well being like her. Now it seems like if you don’t have the answer, the response is oh sorry and that’s the end of it. Furthermore, my future decision on if I continue to use your dealership will be contingent on your reply to this survey because, $700 later with a subpar detail and missing custom valve stem cover coupled with my missing custom floor mats is absolutely egregious.
