Lexus Escondido Auto Repair Service

Tyler is great to work with, he keeps me up to date on the progress and various maintenance issues while it’s in for service.

This was my first experience with your service at Lexus Escondido. We bought our car last week and scheduled this visit to have the 3M door protection done the next Monday at 11 am. Over the weekend, I got a text indicating the appointment was for 10:45. So I arrived at 10:45, was warmly greeted and taken inside to wait for my service advisor. 45 minutes later (45!) he came to find my wife and me. He confirmed the work to be done, told me it would take 3-5 hours and then took us over to the desk to get our promised loaner car. When we got there, we were immediately informed that there were no loaners left and we’d be sent “across the street” to get a rental car. 10 minutes later we were shuttled to Enterprise (which was not really “across the street”) and waited another 15 min to get a Toyota Corolla, requiring a $100 “deposit” for any potential damage. At this point we were 90 minutes from our original arrival time. 90! We stopped for lunch at a nearby restaurant at which I got a call that the car was ready for pick up. By then, we had had the rental car for 20 minutes. We are grateful that the car was ready only 2 hours after we arrived. The checkout experience was excellent (it was a zero balance, of course, since we had purchased this “extra” product in advance). But we needn’t have been put through the wait, the shuttle, the Enterprise or anything else to get our car serviced. I am certainly willing to chalk this all up to one bad day … but I can’t rate the dealership high for this experience.

This is the second time Christian has helped with the servicing of my car. He does a great job and he is pleasant to work with. I hope he handles the next service.

I informed the service manager the light indicating problems with tire pressure was blinking and then turned into a solid light. I was told it was checked and there was no problem. The light is now on, so apparently there is a problem,

Mr. Anthony Lee was quite helpful to inform me all the details of the plan that my car will receive. Also he was explained to me the time that it will take to obtain a loner car compared to the time that I’ll be waiting; therefore, I decided to wait. He was really nice to provide me with tickets to the coffee place and the boutique. I enjoyed my waiting time which I felt it was short. Thank you Mr Anthony!!

Christian was very helpful and easy to work with. His recommendation not to wait on the purchase of new tires was very sincere and did not come across as a "sales pitch". I will request him again for future service appointments.
