They gave me a loaner whose tire pressure gauge showed something wrong. The key was in the cup holder. Man 1 spent a long time putting air in the tires, and then he walked away without telling me anything. I didn’t know whether the car was ready to be driven or not. I encountered another service person (Man 2) and asked him; he didn’t know and said the tire pressure was still showing as low. Then I asked a third man (Man 3), who asked Man 2 if he knew who had been working on the car. Man 2 gave Man 3 the name of Man 1. Man 3 said, I will go and ask him. Man 3 was gone for a while and then came back and said that there was a nail in the tire. I shouldn’t have had to straighten all of this out myself. What if I hadn’t asked all those questions and had driven away with a defective tire that could have had a blowout? Man 1 should not have just walked away without telling me anything, and then apparently he did not tell anyone else who was in charge about the problem. I finally received another loaner, but the situation wasted my time. It is not a good indication that an essential piece of information, critical to the safety of the car, was not transferred to the appropriate person and not acted upon until I, the customer, had to find out for myself if the car was drivable.
