The service team assured me that my XC90 Recharge is not leaking gasoline, however the smell of gasoline still permeates my garage while the vehicle is being charged.

Jean was very helpful and kind. I was informed of everything happening beforehand & very satisfied with the work done. Jean checked in with me several times while I was waiting to see if I needed anything.

There are three concerns: 1) The vehicle was apparently just visually inspected, without any in-depth investigation. We already had noted the vehicle was not making the grinding noise for which we had requested service; yet we still wanted the car serviced as the noise was very loud when it did occurred for a couple of weeks about 1-2 weeks before the actual service was done, and there could be an underlying issue inside the vehicle. 2) The vehicle was returned without being washed and vacuumed, despite the service paperwork explicitly stating these were performed. The valet driver acknowledged it was not washed. 3) The vehicle was barely charged before being returned to us, whereas we returned the loaner vehicle with a full tank and our vehicle was fully charged when we handed it over at pickup. For the EV charging, the valet driver acknowledged he had to put the vehicle to charge for a small amount of time before leaving the dealership to ensure there was no issue driving to our house, as the vehicle had not been charged at the dealership beforehand. Otherwise, no concerns with the interactions with the service reps Maddie, Jacob or the valet driver (missed asking his name). They all had positive attitudes, and helped answered our questions while booking the service, and prior/during pick up of the vehicle.

I did not have a great experience this time at Volvo as I did not receive a single update on my car during this time. I found myself calling the dealership periodically over two days to receive updates on when I could retrieve my car. The last time I called they told me my car had been finished with service, which would have been nice to know as it hindered my work day.

Everything went great! Service was done promptly and quickly.
