This is a comment for Jason, one of the other service guys (who has always been great!). I asked him about why the passenger window on my MDX stopped working for the driver door control (and still worked from the passenger side control). He said it would be $168 to diagnose, and that, if it's a broken harness in the door, it would be around $400 total to fix it. So, I Googled it. In under 15 seconds, I found the solution: Make the passenger window go up and down 4 times, turn the ignition off and back on, and that would fix the problem. So I tried it, and it immediately fixed the issue. So, rather than me spending $168 at a minimum to diagnose this, I found the solution and implemented it in around 60 seconds total. Why would a service person not know about this solution??? I would expect that a service person would have tried this 60-second solution. Jason may have not known about this solution which makes me think there is a lack of training on Acura's part.

Every time I come in, I ask that the technician not drag their feet across the door threshold. Every time my car is ready, the first thing I have to do is clean the threshold. It’s not just dirt anymore. It is permanently scuffed. I started coming to this dealership (with my first purchase) in 1987. Overall, the experience with service has been very good.
