We bought our vehicle back in 4/22. We noticed that the rim was bent a bit and the tire had a gash in 1 of tires when we purchased the car. The sales man told us that he would get a new tire on the car, but the rim would take a lil while to fix... due to they only come a few times a year to fix the rims., so we were told. No big deal not affecting the drive. So we asked a few more times when we were up at Toyota getting the oil changed or tires rotation. Still being told basically we were on a list and would be helped soon. Fast forward to today, car needs a new battery and brakes. I gladly spend 600 for good service and friendly customer service. Paid for everything and had a few questions about my rims and a battery key that isn't working either. Was told that the rim was cosmetic and would not be covered under warranty. Ok i understand, this isn't something that we talked about under warranty, this is something we pointed out when we bought car and we were supposed to be on some list. Service lady then tells me i need to speak to a sales associate... go over to speak to some guy and he keeps asking be well who told you this and why would you wait 18 months to do anything about a rim. I keep trying to explain this isn't my 1st, 2nd or 3rd attempt at getting my rim fixed. The sales associate i delt with was very rude. I was the one being NICE for 18 months.... didn't get anywhere. Very displeased with how I was treated tonight, after being LIED to multiple times

Brought our car in for an oil change in October. It was recommended to have our differential pinion seal replaced for a leak. On October 11th the work was performed. At the end of November my husband noticed a burnt rubber smell and loud noise. He immediately called to bring it back in and described the problem. He never said what he thought the problem was. I was contacted via phone and told we had been given a bad pinion seal and that it was covered under warranty and would be replaced free of charge . I believe this was November 30th. Our car sat in the shop until December 5th until someone could work on it. I was called on the 5th and informed it was actually not the seal, but the rear differential, and that it needed to be replaced. For $4200. I’m not sure why I was told on the phone that they had inspected the car and it was the pinion seal only to be told later it wasn’t. When I told them that it seemed very suspicious that the part they just fixed, if not done correctly, could cause the exact problem I have now, they assured me without a doubt that there could be ABSOLUTELY NO correlation between the two. Which I find very hard to believe. They noted nothing about my rear differential in the previous inspection, but today said it had probably been in poor shape for a long time and that is what happened. I purchase our Toyota sienna from COAD and take both our cars for oil changes. I would very much appreciate the situation to rectified. Thank you.
