Overall, the service was very good and prompt. It did take a few times and rescheduling to make sure they had the proper equipment to do the recall that was just sent out on the battery housing and placement in the car. I had to double and triple check. I did have a brief survey prior to service being started after I checked in and it asked me if there's any other concerns for the mechanic and I had written in a description of failing paint on the rear passenger door. I'm not sure if that doesn't go directly to the service team or where that ends up, but nobody knew about that comment and did not check it out. They did let me know that there was a recall for the paint, in the past, and to contact Toyota to see if I'm still eligible. Apparently the recall ended in 2024 but they told me to call Toyota anyway and hopefully get that ran through. Overall a good experience, I was just taking it back at 132 for an oil change. When I brought this up to the service department technician at the desk he's like really that's crazy. I said you can go to Jiffy Lube and get an oil change for $49.99 and he replied that's cheaper than my discount at Toyota to get an oil change. I don't know I think it's a little excessive but if there was vacuuming of the car or top off of you know regular fluids something along those lines to add value to it that would make more sense. I do like having the car serviced at the Toyota shop because of the record keeping and how that looks on Carfax when I decide to sell my car and turn it in but $132 for an oil change is expensive. They did do a free tire rotation which was nice and the recall didn't seem to have any issues. It is unclear whether or not they changed the battery. The car is my wife's and I had to drop it off and go to work after so I didn't have an opportunity to inspect. Overall, very nice technicians support staff from initial appointment scheduling, main in-house service scheduling, technicians and everybody else involved in the process. They were very busy and there was a lot of people waiting. The waiting room had Outlets to charge my computer I was able to get some work done coffee was available with an espresso machine which is a nice touch. Chairs were comfortable and all that, I just keep coming back to 132 for an oil change. The recall for the paint apparently was through August of 2023. I did not receive any literature heads up any kind of notice from the specific service center I went to or from Toyota in general. The problem with the paint did not start until the hottest days of summer in 2024. Obviously, that would still put me past the window, but if there's any way to facilitate a spot peanut job and or protectant that would be amazing. I would take every single service to Toyota no matter what. I'd love to know if I can purchase the sealant that works best for the paint and properties of what the pain is made of or anyway I can fix it myself, really just some more information. Any chance you might be able to help me find a service center that will honor this recall? I had a rather enjoyable time at the service center itself and I did leave a five star review on Google. I've been taking my Toyota to this service center for over 4 years now and have always had a good experience. I hope you have made it to the end of this as a middle-aged man Rambles about 2 and 1/2 hours of his day and how comfortable the chairs were. I would really appreciate any information have on what is included in the full oil change as well as the paint recall from 2023. Thank you for your time have a good day.

It took 3 hours to get a 5k service (no oil change) with an appointment (in at 11:30, out at 2:30). This was 90 minutes later than promised-- I was told because the mechanics were out for lunch. So why was I given an appointment right before lunch? My past experiences with T.O.P. have been excellent, but not this time.

I just had the battery replaced on my 2024 Highlander today. While driving home in the snow I noticed that the audio would not turn on. Then when I hit the menu button I got a black screen. What is going on??? You need to fix this! I jump started the engine at home and drove to TOP and listened to the radio but couldn’t after the battery change. I am very disappointed in Toyota of Puyallup.

I’ve reached the point of possibly looking for a service that costs less. We are on a fixed income that does not rise much compared to rich people. We have been happy with Toyota service but expenses have reached the breaking point.

Lots of miscommunications, the person at the front desk told me they’d come out to look for me when my car was ready. I got a text, saying my car was ready so I waited for 10 minutes thenI went up to the front desk. They sent me outside to get my car, and then the person who brought out my car directed Me back inside to get my key “because they couldn’t give it to me but wait by the desk and someone will give it to you” and then was standing by the desk until someone saw Me and asked if I was waiting for a key.

I had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get my car after it was ready and had been brought around to the parking lot, when I asked about it, the representative apologized and said he had forgotten to give me the key, I also had to rearrange my trunk and backseat because the third party service that had been working on my car moved items from the backseat into the trunk, I had not been previously notified that they needed the backseat empty to work on the car, I understood they would be working on the exterior only.
