I brought my vehicle in because I had a screw in the tire, in the top of the tread, and was told that it was not repairable, even though after I first purchased my vehicle in November of 2022, a repair was done in nearly the exact same spot previously. I had also dropped my vehicle off to have the 30,000 mile service done at the same time, which involves rotating the tires. As far as I can tell, the tires were not rotated, because the tire that was replaced in the back was in exactly the same position that it was when I dropped it off for said repair.
Although my car was washed on the body, none of the wheels were touched, nor was the passenger or driver side floor mat area vacuumed like had been done in previous trips.
A repair covered by warranty, the passenger headlight assembly, was also being taken care of during this visit.
After being called and told that my vehicle is ready to be picked up by Eric, I showed up and talked with another service advisor, as Nick was not there, and was told that they weren’t sure if the passenger head light assembly was actually replaced. I find this frustrating because the day before, I was told that they had to order it, and that it would be in today and replaced. It seems that nobody in the service department is on the same page when it comes to handing off a customer to someone else and keeping track of work being performed on a customers vehicle. Then to find out that replacing a tire would cost me nearly $400, not two tires, but one, was very very frustrating. I can say with full confidence that I do not plan on coming back to your dealership once my Toyota Care has expired because every time I come in, there is some sort of issue. This started with the sale of my vehicle and it has followed me the entire time I have been involved with your dealership. As someone who has worked in the automobile industry for nearly 10 years, I can tell you that this is very concerning on my end. Customer service should be of the utmost importance to a service department, and I do not feel that that is the case with yours. I will do my best to make sure that no one that I know comes in and purchases a vehicle from you, much less comes to you for service unless you can somehow change your ways and show that you can be trustworthy moving forward.
