When I made the appointment for my car to have the part put on my drivers seat I asked if the parts center had that special specific part . They said that they had it. I’m coming from Silverdale. It would have been nice to have the electronics on the back doors fixed at the same time that the drivers seat was fixed. I was there for 3 hours by the time that I was told that they didn’t have the part for the seat. A waist of my time. I would appreciate a free maintenance of an oil change for my car for the inconvenience.

We had requested, both on the online appt spot and when we checked in, and confirmed with the tech checking us in, that the cover to the cabin filter, which had fallen off, would be put back on during the service. It was not. It was still sitting on the seat, where we had put it after showing someone what it was and confirming that it would be done. We didn’t notice that until we were home again. My schedule isn’t one that allows me to come in anytime, I have to plan ahead. So next time we have service scheduled, we will request that again. Other than that, I think things were fine.

I have an appointment for oil change and maintenance (rotate tires etc) at 1015. Didn’t get out of there until 1250. That’s 3 hours of my Saturday. One of onky 2 days I get off each week. What’s the point of appointments if the wait is so ridiculous? Not sure I’ll waste $100 for an oil change and time like that. Not to mention the drive from federal way both ways. Yah. Not a good experience and btw wasn’t even greeted for the first few minutes. Your staff was busy typing. Nor did they smile when I was. Yah. Not sure worth coming back.

The counter person was telling me when he called about issues found that the two front shocks are showing wear. When we got to the counter to pick up our car after oil/filter change and tire rotation, I asked him if he was sure about the shocks because shocks are in the rear and front are struts. He said that’s what I thought. He went back to check with the technician(s) and still the front shocks. The paper work for found issues also says “2 fronty blown shocks, replace shocks, (you can see the car to keep boucing after bounce test”. Is it the shocks or struts? Struts are in the front. How am I supposed to trust this? Also, I had the counter have the technician(s) re-check the rear break pads because it’s being recommended to get replaced as well as the front. We had the rear break pads replaced a year and a half ago, how is it that it needs to be replaced again? I can see the front since it wasn’t replaced when the rear was replaced. I see other found issues on the list that was not communicated with me like the fresh air vent filter and engine air filter. So those need to be replaced. Since they weren’t replaced, can they last until next oil/filter change? For the fresh air filter, is that tge one through the glove box compartment? My son forgot to unlock the glove box compartment, how can it be recommended to be replaced if unable to check due to locked glove box compartment? I’m not sure what to think about this. It seems it didn’t go smoothly since the counter person had to keep going back and forth checking woth the technician(s) about the issues they listed.

2.5 hours for a fluid check and tire rotation is not acceptable and no I'm not 100% happy. But neither is it acceptable to pin that on the front line staff.

Becky was my advisor, and she is excellent! She made it easy for me to understand that it was in my best interest to change the water pump, the alternator and the front brake. And she did her best to quote me an excellent price. Although unexpectedly, I paid a little below three thousand dollars on a “regular oil change trip”, I am happy and have confidence that you have my best interest at heart. And I can trust you guys. I am delighted with Becky and your service.

The customer service was awful. I had a 4pm appointment and upon check-in was told it would be 1.5 hours as they were behind. However, after over 1.5 hours I checked in and my car wasn’t even close to being ready. After another 30 minutes I checked in again and was told it was now in the shop. It’s been 2+ hours of waiting and not one person communicated to me that my car would be extremely late. My husband had to call the GM at 6:30 to get an answer. Management came to see me and tried to find out what was going on with a car that came in for an oil change and regular maintenance. Needless to say, I don’t plan on returning for anymore services through Toyota of Puyallup’s service department. No communication whatsoever and disrespectful of customers time as I needed to pick up my son from his soccer down the road. It’s not like I live close, I was without a vehicle 45 minutes from my home. Why travel to Puyallup when there are two closer dealerships and one of which I have used in the past without any issues. Thumbs down for the service department. You lost me as a customer and I will no longer recommend this dealership as we had in the last year due to such poor customer service. It is honestly the worst car service in my life. Almost 3 hours and I am the one continuously checking to see where my car is in the shop. Unbelievably bad and hellacious experience.
