I recently purchased my first Toyota from Larson’s Dodge based largely on all my peers sharing their experiences with owning Toyotas and the outstanding service they receive.
When I setup my appointment with a member of your team I was immediately impressed with the service and communication.
The day I dropped it off Nicholas was the person I spoke with, and he answered all my concerns and said he could get the answers I wanted regarding the lift I was considering. I left feeling my 4runner was in good care at this dealership.
When I returned, the person that helped me seemed to be in a hurry to get me done and out the door. He asked my name, had 0 feedback as to what was done and handed me off to the cashier.
I asked the cashier if there was any mention regarding my questions about the lift I inquired about, and he said just call tomorrow (again very much in a rush also)
Here are the additional issues/concerns. Is this what I should expect from this dealership or Toyota in general? Your charge for the oil change is a very great price, but I’d rather pay for good/thorough service.
Asked if tires would be rotated and was told it was included when I asked Nicholas. According to the document it was not done.
Sticker for oil change that was installed was for 1-4-21 (two years ago?) and 5k interval (I was under the impression Toyota recommended every 7500k to 10k for synthetic oil)
If synthetic was not put in, why was I not asked if that is what I wanted
If synthetic was put in, why are we using 5k intervals (I have been doing it every 6k or so previously with synthetic, am I wrong for this)
The video the technician says “There is some rust damage on the rotors, and we are going to have to replace them at the same time”
Rust realistically has no bearing on replacing the rotors, only if they cannot be resurfaced. I am stuck wondering if the technician knows what he is doing or if he trying to fool me to replacing something I don’t need
Rust also has no serious impact on the calipers, they would only need replacement if the pistons do not recess properly at the time of the brake pad replacement.

3 hours for an oil change is ridiculous. Dropped off 1115 for 1130 appointment. Got my truck back at 230 after I asked for the keys because truck was done and pulled around 45 mins earlier. Maybe next time we can try for 4 hours or longer.

For the first time, the tires were set to the correct psi. Kudos. And I received a car wash coupon instead of the usual excuse "we don't have anybody to wash cars so no car wash."
It appears to me that there might be a new service manager who is behind these improvements. More kudos.

On the form it says tire rotation was completed my left tire the hub plate is off, if rotation was done how come the left tire without the hubplate is stil on the left side? Unless you tell me they took off the hub plates too…and rotated them too…???????????
