We mainly brought the truck in to get the heater an defrost fixed. An window. But said do oil change also. So when I got a text an voice-mail saying our service was COMPLETE thats what I expected. We live in Graham off off 224. So it's a 40 min. Drive. We get down yesterday to find out, they should have told us we need parts an do we want it fixed. Which HELLO we did. So we came down for nothing.

When I was told that my oil change would be done in about a hour when I dropped it off at 930 this morning. So thinking that my vehicle would be done by 1030. And not getting the keys and paper work to my vehicle until 11:15 I would say was more then frustrating since I have never had a poor experience till today and have had your facility change my oil every time since I’ve owned my 2012 4Runner and I will continue to do so. I just feel that the poor lack of communication. And honestly horrible in face customer service. When I even said yes I’m the grumpy old **** that wants his keys after being told that we were waiting to print my paper work for a oil change after I had already gotten the text about how my service was when I still didn’t have possession of my vehicle. Real hands off cold approach to seem more relatable.

I had an appointment scheduled at 10 and sat in the lobby for probably 35 minutes after it was already done. The girl checking me out was at lunch. I think you should have people checking people out as the car is finished so that customers are not sitting waiting when they should not have to wait.

I was quoted that my OIL CHANGE was going to take 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was shocked, but whatever I could tell it was busy. TWO AND A HALF hours later, I finally had to ask for an update. Why even bother making an appointment if it's going to take so long to get it completed. Thankfully, today I didn't have much going on so I was able to absorb the ridiculous wait, but if it's that busy next service I will not be waiting around. Scheduling, communication, and time management needs to be better.

See all notes with Toyota corporate regarding this matter. After receiving my car back (1/26/23) from having them fix the multiple paint drip marks, it is still apparent where the problems were. The “fix” was sloppy and quick. Multiple sections of the plastic exterior trim aren’t staying in place from their removal and sloppy replacement (glue of some kind is visible. Like the piece is sliding down. Likely from letting it dry outside in the cold and wet) and I will have to take it somewhere of my choosing, to pay out of my pocket for an issue that wasn’t resolved properly the first two times (mind you this was a recall). When you drop your car at a dealership to fix a recall you shouldn’t have to follow up and ensure they do their jobs. I have experienced nothing but incompetence with both Toyota of Puyallup and it’s service manager Trevor, and the auto body shop that did the terrible work. I brought my car in for the recall of paint not adhering to the primer. I was without my car for 2 months and now have to pay money to resolve an issue brought on by the auto body shop. I’m disappointed and dissatisfied.

Cashier wasn't pleased when I gave her my punch card for a free oil change, saying it was late in the day and they would have to redo the paperwork. I didn't respond so she accepted it and did what was needed to adjust the balance I owed.
