I get my car serviced when required at Toyota of Puyallup every time. Each time I come, I am greeted with a smile and friendly service - such as the case when I came in on 9 October 2024. This time I was greeted by Bret Rochester, when he pulled me out of line to help the next customer. His demeanor and the concern he expressed for myself and my car was unique and satisfying. It is the quality and comfort I receive when I bring in my car for service each and every time - it’s that trust exhibited. I trust that the maintenance performed on my vehicle was done to a high standard. Front desk associate was very professional and helpful. My only complaint would be the consistent transfer of grime to the cabin of my vehicle ( door handle, shifter, steering wheel). Last visit it was door pull and seat surface.

Everything went smoothly. But there is one thing. Everytime I bring in my car they change the seat settings and change my headlight settings. I realize you check the lights, but put it back.
You are only in the car a very short time. It takes me several days to adjust the setting for my back problems.

Rebecca was great! She kept me informed on the status of my vehicle the whole way through the process and was incredibly kind and understanding.
Separate shout out to the service team. I dropped my truck off in a rush and left over $200 in cash and gift cards for my job, in the truck, out in the open and it was all there when I picked it up. I honestly didn’t expect any of it to be there and had already replaced the gift cards because it was my bad for leaving them. Amazing customer service on every level. I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far with Toyota of Puyallup. Thank you!

I got my oil changed on a Wednesday. Driving the vehicle home on Thursday I got a warning that said to contact the dealership. I took the only available appointment on Friday and was told the team on Wednesday left the oil cap off and that they’d need my car over the weekend. I had to take pto for the unexpected trips to the dealership. Also, I do a lot of driving and was given a car with much worse gas mileage for the weekend. It was also a big inconvenience that we could not take our dog with us anywhere during the weekend causing us to change plans. When all was said and done the note on the receipt is dodgy on accepting responsibility and when asking the receptionist if we could get that made more clear I was just told I could call in the next few weeks if there are problems but I’d feel a lot better in the long run if the verbiage was more clear on Toyota accepting responsibility for leaving the cap off instead of it saying that “the found the cap was missing”. Additionally I was given no form of compensation for the inconvenience.
Jess was polite, it’s difficult to deliver bad news and she did a good job. Overall though I’m disappointed in the lack of compensation and I’m worried about potential long term impacts this could have on my vehicle and hope that this doesn’t cause me more headaches down the road
