Brought my car that I bought brand new from you guys one month ago in because the wireless charger is only charging my phone for 30 seconds then it stops charging. Rebecca told me the technician tested a phone on it and it stopped charging but then starts charging again and “I’m all set.” As soon as I left my phone is only charging for 30 seconds then stopping. After bringing this to Rebecca’s attention via email she now says I just have to come in again so the technician can see the issue with my phone specifically. Why wasn’t that done today in the first place? I asked Rebecca if any repairs or were made or parts replaced and she said no. So to address my issue she literally did nothing, didn’t test my phone, didn’t repair or replace anything. I’m curious, what phone did the technician test? Is it the same as mine? And now I have to come in again like it’s no big deal to waste my time. What kind of service is this? Absolutely nothing was done to address my issue.

I was disappointed that an attempt was made to upsell me, especially considering how many times my car has been in for maintenance in the past 12 months. My car was in to replace a recalled part. During this process I was told (not asked) that my spark plugs & belt needed to be replaced. I expressed frustration that nothing had been said during any of my recent visits. I then inquired as to how poor of a condition they were in and was told, “ oh it’s just recommended based on your mileage.” I didn’t need to spend an extra $600 before tax - it was simply “ recommended” - which is not how it was originally presented to me. It is tactics like this that prevents myself & other female customers from having routine work done at dealerships. I will continue to only have repair work completed at the dealership when it is a recall or I have no other option. Overall a disappointing experience.

My new vehicle was damaged and the seat smudged by the mechanic. The trim was ajar and I haven’t checked for everything as I am still upset and it seems the more I looked for problems the more I found. This wasn’t on Bret as he was apologetic and responsive. After the wonderful experience with sales and finance I had my opinion of Toyota of Puyallup plummet. My family had purchased seven new Toyotas from Lakewood and never had problems. I decided to check with Puyallup with this one even though I dislike the drive Now I can’t even look at or experience the same great satisfaction with my new vehicle without being angry with Toyota of Puyallup. Now I will have to drive there and back, get a loaner and there and back on my time off because of this careless and inattentive mechanic who shows no respect for customer vehicles. Basically, I went from living that vehicle to not wanting to look at it because this didn’t need to happen and the bitter aspect is I paid extra and took leave to have this experience.
