Michael was great and very friendly. My service was completed in a timely manner. My only comment is, my USB cord that I had plugged into my USB port below my radio was missing as where it wasn’t before I left my car. Not sure where it may have went during time of service.

I took my vehicle in on Thursday, January 9th by wrecker due to check engine warning and multi terrain system warning lights. I did get contacted by Angela the afternoon hours about two spark plugs having to be replaced due to carbon build up And that they would have to remove the upper and lower parts of motor to check the injection ports — I called Angela Friday midday and was told she would contact me that afternoon with further but so far the technicians couldn’t find anything wrong with vehicle. Other than there was a lot of carbon buildup in motor and spark plugs which the technician did that the carbon build up on spark plugs was unusual for a vehicle with less than 29,000 miles. That they had checked the fuel and it was good no contaminants. That if I didn’t want to spend an extra 3-4 hundred dollars to have them clean the engine to just drive the vehicle hard to blow the carbon out. Angela said that they had called Toyota to see if there was anything else or if it could be covered under warranty since it was still within the 36 months or 36,000 miles period. Angela said she would call me Friday afternoon. Well on Saturday the 11th after not receiving a call from Angela on Friday I called and left message at 9am, I heard from Angela around 1230pm with no new information, other than it was dirty with carbon . Angela said I could come get it or leave it till the next week and maybe they woood have talked to someone from Toyota . I was told my vehicle was running smoothly t just need to be driven hard to blow out carbon and use a top tier fuel . I picked up my vehicle around 1 Pm on Saturday the 11th and paid $664 dollars. I began to drive the vehicle home and it would not go above 40 miles an hour. I called Angela back and told her this and she said I could bring it back and have the cleaning done. I was highly upset to say the least and I told Angela I could not understand how a vehicle that had 26,943 miles would have the carbon build up. And I have used the same fuel in all my families vehicles and have not had an issue. Angela became upset or irritated with me and said there was only two options, I could bring it back for the cleaning or take it home Of course I brought my vehicle home and come to find out the technicians had not replaced attached a hose on the engine and had left two screws, which they had removed to diagnose the vehicle on top of the engine compartment near the windshield wipers along with some sort of tool. I attached the hose back where it went and put the screws back in their proper place. I have had this vehicle since dec of 2022 , which had 8 miles on it when I got it and all of the maintenance has been completed at LC Toyota. I understand spark plugs are not covered under warranty, however something is causing the carbon build up in a vehicle under 29,000 miles And then for no one to be able to tell me why this is happing other than to say I just need to use top tier fuel. Is kinda hard for me to understand and Angela is a very nice person but she didn’t seem too knowledgeable other than to say the technician said and that basically it was my fault for not using top tier fuel. So no I was not satisfied with the service . Thank you for your time Lecia M

The maintenance issue I paid for was not fixed correctly and is still in the same status as when I arrived. Extremely disappointed due to the fact that I have to drive 1 hour to get to the dealership and now have to return for the service again. I brought my RAV 4 in for a recall inspection. I had an appointment for 9:30 am. It took 2-1/2 hours to inspect the car. I was told there are only 2 mechanics doing recall work and that was the reason why it took so long. If that is truly the case, the appointment times should be spread out so customers wouldn’t have to wait so long. Apparently, Lake Charles Toyota doesn’t care about its customer’s time and the fact that we have other things to do. My time is valuable, but it seems that is of no concern to LC Toyota.
