We tried getting our forerunner serviced the week before Christmas with a 10:30 appointment only to be told we would have at least a two hour wait because of the drive ups. Went back the Friday after Christmas without an appointment because it didn’t seem to matter if you had an appointment or not only to be told that all they could do was get us out by the end of the day. After Matt lied to us a couple of times about when they were going to our service we decided to leave. This was already after two hours of waiting. Your service department has become a joke and Matt needs to learn to be honest with his customers.

I brought the car in for an oil change, and was notified of the battery needing to be replaced. I informed themI had recently had the battery replaced thru Toyota. He said he would warranty the battery, but the wrong battery was put into the car. Which would explain why the battery failed so soon after the first replacement. He then wanted me to pay to have the wrong battery put in again. Claiming he could only warranty the battery they sold, even after fully admitting to their mistake. I refused the wrong battery and requested the correct battery which led to an employee attempting to intimidate me, and even going as far as to laugh about “how many people pay for uneccessary repairs” as if that is somehow honorable. I will personally NEVER buy another vehicle from Lake Charles, Toyota or have my vehicles serviced there again. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but to make the customer pay for the mistake they made is insane! I worked as a service tech for many years, and know for a fact you can’t put the wrong battery into a vehicle, I could of done the job myself and looking back probably should have but I was paying for the service while assuming they were competent enough to perform the job. Lesson learned, hope that money they got from me goes much farther than my future buisness as I will not deal with such incompetence again, not to mention how they laughed about it to my face.

I want to be sure that you know that Barton had no control over the issue and was wonderful and very helpful!
Today I had a tire stud or pickette replaced in my car. I was charged for the new stud, a new lug nut, and the labor for installing both.
The new tire stud was installed and then I left, once I returned home I noticed that a new lug nut was not on the tire.
I called Barton and he had my go straight back to get the lug nut put in. I did that and it was quickly out on by a tech.
