When picking up my car would have been charge 3% if I use my charge card, when I went out to get my car, no one went over my service. Had to go in to go over the service that was done since the tire rotation was not listed. Car wasn't washed. I didn't know I had to ask for that. I usually go to Folsom Kia for the service and coupons. They don't charge the extra 3% for using a charge card, they ask if you was a car wash, and after my service they go over my vehicle.

I was given an appointment to drop off my vehicle at 715 so that I could catch the shuttle. The shuttle was not scheduled to leave until 815, bu, ok, I’ll wait. I need to be to work by 830, but it is only 1 mile away. At 819, I asked to verify that I was waiting in the correct place. At 824, I asked again if they were running the shuttle. At 829, I asked if there was someone else that could run me to work. At 832, the driver pulled around if I can be there an hour early for checking in, I would hope the driver could at least be there on time.

I think it took a bit of convincing, but Ryan and the team did what I asked even though there was no way to replicate the weather-specific problem. The extra effort to attempt to replicate the problem a second day was appreciated. Also, the clerk who checked me out was perhaps the nicest person I have ever experienced as a clerk. Please be nice to her so she stays. She makes checking out and finishing up in the service department very pleasant.

Ryan is an amazing person to work with. When I walked in, he called me by name and that means a lot to me. From the very beginning, he made me feel welcomed and within an instant, I trusted that I was in good hands. His communication skills and knowledge of true customer service skills are elite. I’m surprised the man doesn’t own the place by now. At the very least, he definitely deserves a raise. Any establishment is very fortunate to have someone like Ryan working for them.

Ryan Tubig was the only positive part of my experience. Having a reservation was useless. The wait was awkward and uncomfortable. The shuttle ride was so uncomfortable I almost got out of the car and walked home. The shuttle driver made me feel guilty for asking for a ride, the 15-20 minute wait took over an hour, and he spent the entire ride ranting about himself and about how “he wasn’t made at me” however he had to leave his bank errand to drive me because he had the shuttle van (a personal problem) and that “it was for just me”. Rude. Unprofessional. And absolutely unacceptable. I will only return because of Ryan; if not for him I would never come back because the rest of the experience was hands down one of the worst I’ve had in my entire lifetime as a driver.

This is not necessarily feedback for Clayton specifically, but my experience with the service department. My car was in the service department for over 3 weeks for a recall and related issues. I was told they are short staffed, which I understand, but over 3 weeks is excessive. I would have appreciated more of an explanation as to why this process took nearly a month, throughout which I was without a method of transportation as there is no option for a rental car through Kia. I had to routinely reach out to Clayton for updates on my car, and when he was out for the day I was told I would receive a call from another employee—and this unsurprisingly never happened. If work is behind due to staffing issues, I would hope that communication of these delays would increase, and this was not the case. Overall I will be taking my car to any other Kia dealership for future recall issues as my experience with this service department was unprofessional, inefficient, and disappointing as a new Kia owner. On top of this, when I came to pick up my vehicle, I had to request the detailed documentation of what was done to my car. I sincerely hope that improvements are made so that this doesn’t happen to any other customer. I appreciate anyone who reads this feedback and takes time to consider any changes that can be made to improve your processes.

I absolutely love this office. Their staff works so well together creating the best atmosphere. They are professional and I appreciate their assistance so much. I didn't believe I could qualify but they encouraged me to allow them to check my status and thank God I did.
