This was the most difficult experience I have ever had as a customer of Elk Grove Kia. Starting off, your web page allowed me to schedule service on a day you were closed (Labor Day). You called me to change my appointment, and we agreed I'd bring the car in on Thursday. The day after Labor Day, I got a text saying I had missed my appointment, so I called and was told that the person who rescheduled me did not change my appointment and offered to make an appointment for a day further out. I had to get a manager involved to keep the appointment that you had promised. The next issue was with communication. After we had dropped off the car, we got a call that afternoon that they needed to keep it for a while to find out what was going on, and I appreciated being kept in the loop. I was under the impression that they would call me the next day (Friday). We did not receive a call throughout the weekend, and when I called on Monday morning, I was sent to a voicemail box. I left a message, but did not get a call back, and I eventually had to call again Monday afternoon. We learned what was wrong with the car, and after some discussion we ended up agreeing to the estimate. We were told we would get a call back on Tuesday to let us know an estimated time of repair. Tuesday came and went with no call from anyone Eventually I called again on Wednesday around noon, and was told that the parts had just come in and they would call me at about 2 pm Wednesday with an estimate of when the car would be ready. Wednesday came and went with no call from anyone I called on Thursday, and was told that there was a delay due to a broken bolt, but the repair was all but complete except for the extended road test. I was led to believe that I would get a call when the road test was done I got no such call We picked up the car this morning, and found that while they had completed the primary repair, we had also asked them to check out our rearview mirror, and Ryan said that during the road test they found that we needed a new mirror, which he offered to order I wish he had mentioned this in any of our many phone conversations Let me be clear. I’m not mad about the cost of the repair. I’m not mad about the delays. Those happen. What really **** is that normally Elk Grove Kia is really good about communicating with me, but y’all just completely dropped the ball here. Ryan apologized very nicely every time I mentioned that the service wasn’t going the way I wanted it to, but he never did anything to actually make it better.

My experience with Ryan and his team was outstanding. While it was unfortunate that my car ended up at the dealership due to a factory issue/faulty parts, I knew from the moment Ryan contacted me that it was in good hands. It had been towed, so he contacted me as soon as it arrived and kept me updated throughout the process of figuring out the problem all the way through to the repair. I felt that he was honest, respectful and represented Kia as a brand I will want to return to in the future.

Terrible customer service, horrible service department management. I will never bring my car back or recommend this service department to anyone. I was lied to and treated like I didn’t know what was going on with my own car. Parts department is awful & don’t order the correct parts. Service techs are lazy and do not do their job correctly. The list goes on and on….
