I was not updated once single time about the status of my car being ready . I actually called twice on two different days and left messages both times , before I finally got a return call . I do not care that it took longer than anticipated, but some kind of communication would have been nice .

I called to make an appointment after the original problem was found by the Quick Lube. The problem was early so it wasn’t an emergency to get fixed but something I didn’t want to ignore. I was given an appointment 1.5 weeks out. When I arrived for that appointment I was told it was going to be 2 weeks before anyone even looked at it. Why did they make the appointment for 1.5 weeks when it would be 3.5 weeks before it ever got pulled into a shop? Why wasn’t the appointment made for 3.5 weeks. Thankfully I have an extra vehicle or this would have been a huge issue. Neil is not a good communicator. He called with the estimate once the Jeep was evaluated and opened the conversation with “I spoke to your warranty company, this is what they will pay and this is what you have to pay” without ever even explaining what was found and what the plan of action was. He didn’t even introduce himself when he called. Same for the person who callled today for payment, she didn’t introduce herself she just told me what my balance was and we sat quiet for a few minutes while, I assume, she was waiting for me to offer a credit card number but she never asked so I said “I have my card when you are ready” to which she replied “I’m ready”. The service seems to have been done well, as far as I can tell, but communication skills and consideration of customers’ time is an area where your business could improve.

Everything was smooth and easy. Love how I’m treated at Akins. Bobby Reese was professional and quick!

I was told these problems would be top priority based on the fact that they came after I had left my car there for 4 weeks already to be fixed originally. I was hesitant to leave my car there again because I didn’t know how long I would be in a loaner but having spent almost $3500 to get my AC fixed at Akins, I knew I needed to take it there to have the problems fixed that arose from the AC issue. After multiple attempts to get in contact with someone about an update, I finally got one once my husband went into the shop for me. I got my car back after three weeks for three simple issues, and that didn’t seem like a top priority to me.

Matthew was awesome and very professional. Made everything easy.

I appreciated that Jaylynn let me know who she was handing me off to when she went to lunch and that she gave me a good “time” estimate for the service.
