My truck had 3 recalls, I took it the first time you only fixed 1. You called and made a appointment to fix the others you had it for almost 2 weeks. I told you to fix tailgate opening also you did not. I tow a 5th wheel, if the tailgate opens when I'm towing the trailer is Akins going to pay for the damage to my truck and camper. I have bought 5 vehicles from Akins and still have my father's F 250 he bought new there in 1999. Very disappointing.

I had to leave my car for almost 2 days for an alignment then because it was sitting they had to check the battery and I was charged for checking the battery when no one disclosed that checking it will cost 60+ dollars. I’m always satisfied with Akin’s service but not this time.

I had an oil change appointment scheduled at 12:45pm today. I communicated that I needed to leave by 2pm in order to be able to get in the carline to pick up my son after school. I was told that the service department was backed up and had been since 10am. My car may be done by 2:15. I could wait there until 2pm and have my car pulled if it’s not done. I live in Monroe so it’s quite a drive to get there to essentially be told you cannot service my vehicle in a timely manner. Please cancel my upcoming my service appointment. I will not be bringing my car in.

Communication was subpar. I had to call to get updates and felt like it was an inconvenience to the service advisor that I called. I was told twice that I would be called the following day with an additional update, but never received those calls. The service department kept my car for 3 weeks and never solved the issue of why my ac fan stopped working and then started back working. It shouldn’t have taken 3 weeks before my car was ready pickup. I did have a rental from Akins otherwise I would have really been in a mess.
