Wanted tech to check the level of my transmission fluid, but was informed they don’t do that during an oil change. However, my service info showed a green check showing the level was fine. When I asked, they said the tech isn’t allowed to check transmission fluid, so this makes it look like the service report had boxes checked just to complete and be done with it. The service report says by transmission fluid level “if equipped with dipstick”. My vehicle is equipped with a dipstick for the automatic transmission fluid level….it’s just not under the hood. It is located underneath. If I know this, then the tech should too. I don’t check it myself because 1: I don’t have a lift to get under my truck & 2: it is located right next to a catalytic converter which is cherry red hot. Was told to make an appointment to have it checked which is over 2 weeks out. Also, I wanted to get a recall done, which is just a software upgrade that ford says takes 20 min. I was informed Akins computers were down and would have to make an appointment for that too once your system was back up. Seems more productive for Akins and myself to be able to complete the other 2 simple items while the oil change is done.

Vanessa was good. There was a miscommunication between departments and someone was supposed to have called me to schedule my drop off and rental car pick up. So, communication between departments may not be all that great. Vanessa communicated in a timely manner as she received updates. It was a unusual fix so it took over a week. I did see on a previous survey where I was asked if my electric vehicle was returned charged and I have to say that the several times that I've had to leave it overnight and or several days, it has yet to be returned with any type if charge.
