You send a text asking if I’m satisfied when I did not leave my truck because you changed your policy on loaner vehicles and don’t tell customers until they show up also you call today to get me to email a copy of my license and Insurance card so everything will be ready when I get there the first thing I am asked for when I get there is my license and insurance card so you can get a copy of it ????? That is why I emailed it earlier in the day I was told you needed it to verify insurance YOU ALREADY HAVE IT IN AN EMAIL. Very poor customer service

Akins always has been great, timely, and obviously focused on customer care as evidenced by the number of customer contact people. One small item today was a bit disappointing. I received a text that my van that was being serviced was ready. Included in text was info to bypass the pay counter to pay with card in the service area. So, I walked up to a pay station to be in line to pay. There was one person ahead of me in conversation with the Akins guy. They continued to talk for several minutes. I looked around for another pay station that might be available. It was only when I began to walk away that the Akins guy acknowledged my presence and asked if he could be helpful. I said yes, I just didn’t want to interrupt their conversation. That was when I realized the other guy was not a customer but also an Akins guy! I’m still an Akins fan but thought the Akins guys might need a bit more customer care training…it’s always good to make eye contact and verbally acknowledge the presence of a customer even if you legitimately need them to wait a bit. Perhaps especially if they have to wait a bit. I did let one of the other customer contact person know about my little deal. I always figure you can’t fix something if you don’t know it’s broken. Not a big deal but thought it might be helpful for your folks and future more sensitive customers. ????
