I made an appointment to have 1 tire replaced as it had a nail in it. The tire was under warranty where I bought it in May of this year. I spent around 2300 total in May for other repairs as well. I made appointment to have the tire replaced and dropped it off at 8am and they said it would absolutely be ready by 3pm that day. I called 2pm as I was going to catch an Uber to dealership. They assured me it would be ready at 3pm. I got to dealership at 4:15pm and walked in assuming my vehicle would be ready only to find out they hadn’t even started it. I had to be back in Lexington by 4:45 that evening to pick up 2 kids from different activities. They told me “We can have it done in 30 minutes” but couldn’t wait and had to drive back to home with the same tire with a nail in it from before. I understand that things happen, but the fact that I called at 2pm and asked and they assured me it would be ready by 3pm, and then it still wasn’t ready at 4:15 is ridiculous. I travel for work like crazy during work in different cities so bringing it back next day as suggested wasn’t an option. The tire being under warranty isn’t much use if they don’t get it done. So I ended up taking it to another store and paid full price for a tire. 8.5 hours should be enough time to replace one tire, you would think.

I came in just to have diagnostics done as I explained to the registration person however, when I received an update about my vehicle, the repair had already been made without my approval ,with the repair charge as well. I explained to the lady I was only there for diagnostics and agreed to pay the diagnostics charge. Never told her I wanted to get it fixed today. Never agreed to have it fixed today and pay that full price.

Well, I got there before 9:00 A.M. for my appointment. As it usually takes about a hour or so for an oil change. After 3 hours and watching people leave that came in well behind me. So, I ask the service desk if my truck was about done, he proceeded to check. So after waiting 3 hours, I was told that the service department had overlooked my truck. I missed an appointment I had and I had my kids waiting on me at my house, which was about an hour away. I wasn’t very happy, so I waited almost another hour before it was finished. I was approached by General Manager Charlie Johnson being very apologetic about what had happened. Very very kind he was and explained that the bill was taken care of. Of course, I very much appreciated that and did make that bad experience feel better for sure.He did tell me he would find out what happened. But at the end of the day, we have so much to be thankful for and we all could be in worse shape than waiting 4 hours for an oil change.
