I had remote start installed and was supposed to have the door edge guards replaced. Toyota South had my car for two weeks and loaned me another car during that time. The remote start seems to be working well, but it doesn’t look like the door edge guards were actually replaced. One of them was damaged, which is why I was getting them replaced, and it still looks the same. I didn’t notice this until leaving the dealership and tried to call back the next day and left a voicemail with my service technician, but have not heard back yet. Overall, my experience was good, but it’s frustrating that I waited so long to get my car back and everything wasn’t completed even though they assured me it was.
