Always had to call in to get updates and was never able to get an update when I called. Had to wait for Anna to call me back hours later. The service manager under Anna didn't seem to know the vehicle either. They ended up charging the EV battery to 100 percent even though the Toyota website says to limit charging to 80% per day to extend the life of the battery. Just was not given the impression I was talking to a professional that knew the product. The car has been in twice for the same issue and has never been able to find the issue. Spoke with the dealer I purchased the vehicle from and they were surprised logs were not pulled and Corporate Toyota was not called out to inspect. So that is where the vehicle is going next. Spoke with a few co-workers about the South Coast service and they did not have good experiences either.

Stephanie was very helpful and expedited my service. I also had you install wiper blades cuz my driver side window streaked when turned on. This installation did fix my wiper problem. Wished the service technician would have run the wipers to test them. Waste of $50 to me.

I scheduled my appointment at 7am for a routine oil change and to get my info system checked out on my RAV4. Richer walk up to get me checked in at 6:45am and noticed me since I was getting my info system check the visit was going to take a bit longer. I ask about how long it would be since I did need my car to get a few things done and that I have scheduled for the day. Richer told me that it would take about 2 hours. I told him that would be ok and that I would stay so I can get it as soon as they were done. About 2 hours past I went out o ask Richer if I could get an update. He let me know that he did not know but would find out. Richer came up to me and told me that the technician had let him know that on his test drive the info system went down on him and did the same thing I had told him. The technician was on the phone with Toyota to see what the next step was going to be. I ask Richer what time I would be getting my car back he let me know he did not know. I notified him that I needed my car to get my thing done and I’d have been there since 7am. He did let me know that they did have shuttle that could take me home and bring me back as soon as the car was done. I told Richer that I needed my car because I did not have another car to get around to do my thing for the day. I ask him if they had a loaner that I could use while my car there with them so I could get the most important thing done and then come pick up my car. Richer went to check and told me that they did have one car but I would have to pay to rent it. I was in shock and disbelieve that they would not let me use one of there loaner cars. I have seen them let other customers use the car and even keep them for days at time. The only thing he could do was the shuttle. By this time it was like 11:30am, I had to have them drop me off where my husband work to pick up his car to try and get my thing done. Unfortunately I was not able to get all my thing done because of the time they made me waist trying to get this done and then not giving me an actual ETA. I think this was unprofessional and plan rude have me wait there for more then 4 hours knowing that I needed my car and not even coming up to me and letting me know what was going on with the car. I was the one having to go up to Richer’s office to see what was going on. Not only that if they know this was going to take more then 1 hour they should had offer me to schedule another appointment where I could live the car and not have anything planned for that day. I felt like I did not get the attention I deserved as a customer I saw other people get great customer service while I was there being ignored and forgotten.

Job took longer and I had to Uber to the dealership to pick up. Would have been nice to be told in advance that shuttle service ends at 4, and/or if job had been completed by then.

Had issues with a savings coupon I received in the mail. Showed to Ana but she didn’t note in the paperwork. When I went to pay I had to get cashier to agree to discount ($20.00 off >$155). Ana had left for the day so it took extended time to get a supervisor to come and review and approve. Also, car was run through wash immediately before returning it to me and it was dripping wet everywhere, windshield, mirrors, hood, doors….
