One of the services done on May 16, 2024 was an oil change on my 2008 Honda CRV. Upon looking at my invoice, I noticed they had put full synthetic oil in my car. I was not advised of this prior to the oil change. When I made my appointment online, I specifically stated synthetic blend oil. A few years ago they put synthetic blend oil in my car, which had been using conventional oil since my purchase in Oct 2007 from Leta Honda. I was not advised of that as well until I looked at my invoice. I have left 2 messages for someone to call me to discuss, once on May 16, the second on May 24. I have heard from no one. It’s sad to say but the service is not what it used to be.

I have had some bad customer service at frank leta multiple times now. Tyler has changed my mind about coming to frank leta now. He was wonderful about explaining what needed to be done and giving me prices for those items. Tyler let me know about how long it would take and made sure I was updated along the way.

Service Minder #3 appeared (in the car) which prompted the service request to change the automatic transmission fluid. When car was returned the #3 reminder was not reset. Was this evidence that nothing was actually done? I don’t know; but I reset the reminder. Should I have to do that? Then the paperwork description stated “CVT TRANS FLUID”…yet the car has a 10-speed…not a CVT! Details matter. This content may have been typed by Tim Dobrinic or maybe it was a “canned” menu choice. I don’t know. What I do know is that hurrying up to push the service thru to get to the next service request causes errors…which erodes customer confidence quickly.
