I have been coming to Frank Leta religiously for service for years. I have left every time feeling satisfied and like I was well taken care of. However, today, I was told my vehicle was due for its transmission fluid to be changed. I inquired when it was last done and was told that it was last done at 24,000 miles. I immediately felt that answer was incorrect as I take my vehicle in religiously and maintain impeccable service. I was reassured that is when it was last replaced. I asked how often it is recommended, and was told transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. I asked if that was the case, why no other service advisor had mentioned it before now when my mileage is now at 100,000 miles. I was told some service advisors bring it up and some don’t. Feeling like the information was incorrect, I called home to get ahold of my maintenance log. My maintenance log indicates that my transmission fluid was replaced at ~30,000 miles and 62,000 miles, both times at Frank Leta. While I recognize that it is my responsibility to know the up keep on my car, I do feel I should be able to trust the information the service advisor is providing me. For personal reasons, if I had known that my transmission fluid was replaced at 62,000 miles, I would have opted to not have it done at this appt. When I brought the information up to the service advisor he seemed to know that it was done at 62,000 miles and stated that the system was new so he didn’t have all the records. I left feeling like I was provided inaccurate information for the service advisor’s benefit. I will now be bringing my maintenance log with me so that I have all the information at my finger tips as I now doubt the integrity of the information provided to me by your service advisors.

Grace was polite, professional and knowledgeable. She listened intentively to understand the issue I was experiencing with my vehicle and once the work was completed, she described in detail and understood the work that was done. She also kept me updated as the work progressed over the 2 days it was in the shop. Grace was truly a delight to work with!

I don’t understand the purpose of making an appointment if my vehicle isn’t serviced based on appointment time. It should not matter if I choose to wait for my vehicle or return for it. If you schedule my service time I should not be bumped for those waiting. I scheduled and planned service and being without my vehicle based on the appointment time and work that needed to be completed. My time is no less valuable than those who are waiting at your center. Because I did not sit and wait my car was not started until hours after the appointment time and was only partially finished before you closed requiring the need for me to return again for on another day to have Recall work completed. I was told it would cause someone to have to work an hour late to finish it. Well now I have to plan another trip and time without my vehicle, that will cost me more than an hour! I am a hospice nurse and my vehicle is how I do my job. I cannot be without it.

Grace was very sweet and very easy to work with. She did a great job communicating and keeping me up-to-date and she even went as far as asking after they had the car for a couple days if we would like a loaner which was so nice because we had been struggling that week with two drivers in one car so I appreciate her thinking outside the box and offering us a loaner and when I asked how much does that cost she giggled and said it’s always free! She was perfect!
