This was by far the worst experience I have had at a dealer. I called before making my appointment to ensure that my oil change would be free, as that was a perk I was told I had by the dealer where I bought my car, which, in fairness, was not Frank Leta, but a different dealer in Indiana. The employee, Carly I believe, looked up my VIN number and stated that Frank Leta would honor said perk, which is the only reason I made the appointment. When I arrived (after it taking 15 minutes for them to even take my keys and usher me to the service office) I was informed that my oil change was not free and that they only do the free oil changes up to 24,000 miles. I told the employee, Tyler, that I was expecting the oil change to be free and if it was not I'd take my car elsewhere and get it done for cheaper. Tyler went off to talk to his manager and when he returned he said he could give me $10 off, which is nice, but not free which was what I was told would be the cost. I decided to leave my car at Frank Leta for service and was told "it will take about an hour" and that they would text me when my car was ready. My girlfriend picked me up and drove me back to my apartment. This was at about 3:15 on 9/3/24. Cut to nearly 2 HOURS LATER and I've yet to receive a text confirming my car is done. It's nearly 5:15 now so I call the service desk and ask "What's the deal? Is my car done?" The employee tells me that it's not done yet, but they're getting to it. In response I say "you close at 6. What happens when it's 6 and my car still isn't done?" The employee tells me she doesn't know and that she'll have someone call me back about it. I wait for a call and 20 minutes go buy so I just decide to come up and get my car because at this point I don't care of the oil is changed. I need my car for work tomorrow and no one seems to have a clue what happens if my car is still there for service after close. As I am driving to get my car I FINALLY receive the text my car is done. It is now about 5:35. My original appointment was at 3:30 and I dropped my car off at 3:15. Are you telling me that it takes nearly 2.5 HOURS to change my oil? No. They forgot and my call reminded them that they needed to do the change. That is unacceptable. What would've happened if I did not call? I'd would've been SOL and not had my car for an additional day. All for an oil change, which should take no more than 30-60 minutes. I arrive, pay for my car, wait 15 minutes for the guy to actually find and drive my car to me and leave. I will never be going to Frank Leta again. The customer service is terrible and they are clearly incapable of fulfilling service requests in a timely manner. Go somewhere else. Frank Leta Honda does not respect you or your time.

My wife left her number to be called when the work was done. They called me; stated they called her, however her phone shows no call. This is not the first time this happens. Since she never received the call I had to pick her up, take her to another appointment and then bring her back. Is it because she’s a woman? Hope not: that would not look well for Leta on social media. Please review with techs. Even though I’m the primary contact if service orders say to call another person they should follow that direction.

For some unknown reason, my car plan could not be found in the computer. **** shared my folder of previous service and notes with the manager. Now there is a note in my folder, how to find me, my car info and service plan, in the computer. This was the 3rd year, i hope next year is smoother.

My wait on my car was quoted to be completed within 2 hours and it ended up taking 4.5 hours which really inconvenienced me when it came to transportation. The service writer was very nice and helpful but I’m just not sure why it always takes so long for my car to be serviced here.
