It took much longer to do the necessary work than I expected. Do they take their lunch breaks mid-repair. Maybe I expected the work to be done more quickly than it was. I felt that possibly my job was given low priority since I had just “dropped in” rather than make an appointment. I thought it was a simple “fix”. It wasn’t.

I have been to your dealership two times and both times have been bad customer service but the second time was horrible. I called about my problem several weeks ago and was told someone would call me back. No one did I called back again no one did I called back again and spoke with Allan. Then I brought my car back in For service and was told the driver would pick me up by 1 o’clock so I can make my 130 doctors appointment I called seven times to the dealership left messages. Had someone send a group email to everyone in the service department trying to get a response and reach the shuttle driver an hour and 10 minutes after the schedule pick up time and 40 minutes after my doctors appointment I got a call from the driver saying that he was able to come and get me and no one has reached out to him letting him know the urgency. I had to take a taxi and asked to be compensated and was told that I would get a call back from alan on Thursday , no one called me back I called again on Friday. No one called me back if not compensated appropriately. I will write a honest review about this Honda dealership on Nextdoor and Yelp. Thank you for letting me express myself. Debbie

Three days to replace the car battery was way too long. Very hard to get in touch with staff-constantly sent to voicemail with day to hear back. Excessive maintenance recommends for a vehicle under 30k miles.

The service was great with one exception hence the NO response. I requested that my windshield wipers be serviced when I scheduled the appointment. I provided a list of items I needed done when I dropped the car off, including replacing the windshield wipers. Upon returning home I noticed that the wipers appeared not to have been serviced. I then looked at the last page of my service invoice and saw the note that I needed to wait for the ‘rainy season’ to replace them. Really??? They are torn and worn and now I will have to perform maintenance. So, Honda of Oakland Service you failed to get credit for all of the other exceptional work for this one miss.
