My tire was NOT fixed. I most likely will need to bring it in again. I am concerned about driving on the freeway and long distances. I am not happy about this situation. I bought the tire from you in April 2023! I have now been in 2 times with no satisfaction.

Victor aka Vince was wonderful and made my service experience so much better because of his professionalism, kind and friendly manner. He made sure I got everything I needed and that my car was ready the next day. He ordered a replacement part and touch up paint, kept the car overnight, and had everything ready so I could pick it up in the afternoon. I was informed that he would come to my home when service was completed to get my Credit Card for service payment and return with my car. I was placed on a brief hold on telephone while he got permission from his "Boss" who he said had authorized his handling this in this manner because of my illness. None of this happened. And his estimate was off for almost a thousand dollars. My car was later picked up when my daughter returned from vacation.

Carlos took the time to explain some work that I didn’t understand. He also double checked to make sure the appropriate maintenance was being done and that items that were replaced previously and early wouldn’t be done again on accident. Finally, he reviewed the overall findings of the work with me when the maintenance was complete.

Tommy was great. Very friendly. I do think he had so much on his plate, hard to keep in touch with me. And trying to reach by phone was only voicemail- I finally got a ride came to find out the problem needed another day. I could tell Tommy was frustrated too. On the other hand, I came back today with a mal-functioning key fob. No one at the auto parts store could help me. But, Luke, in Parts was awesome. He happily acessed the problem- my fob in many pieces- re-assembled it and sent me on my way! That’s good Service!

Victor provided me with exceptional service when I brought my car in for repairs and upkeep this week. He explained everything that was needed, walked through all my options with me, and made helpful recommendations. He understood that my budget was limited and helped me prioritize what I had to take care of now and what could be postponed briefly. Victor kept in close communication with me throughout the day to let me know the progress of the repairs and coordinated shuttle service to get me to work on time after dropping off my car. He was friendly, polite, and professional in all of our interactions and made me feel like I was in good hands. As a middle aged woman with very little knowledge of what’s going on under the hood, it can be really intimidating to pull into the service center. Victor put me at ease immediately and made the experience comfortable. I will be recommending Victor at Honda Oakland’s service center to all my friends and colleagues from here on. My last experience at Honda of Oakland was disappointing. My visit for an oil change and tire rotation yesterday was a complete 180 and I was very satisfied. My car was done in 2 hours. Darius, my service agent was very professional, personable and didn’t try to pressure me into getting additional services. Everyone I came in contact with from the shuttle drivers to the cashier were pleasant and helpful. Thank you Honda of Oakland for delivering such a great service all around.
