I came in last week for my breaks to be changed. I made it very clear that I wanted all of my breaks changed to the representative. At my last oil change my breaks were in the red and needed replacement. I took the car home and was still hearing a squeaking sound. I brought the car in and was informed that only the front breaks were done last week. My total charge was 600 and with discount 500+ dollars. I’m not happy with the lack of communication of the representative and will not return to this location. This Honda was convenient for me because, I work up the street and can have my car serviced here. And also true for my co workers that are customers at this Honda.

Erin was great and the oil change and tire rotation only took a few hours…one thing bothers me… OaklandHonda does not want to pay the 3% fee on the credit card so I may take my business to El Cerrito Honda they will accept my credit card.

I set up an appt 3 days prior online. I called the morning of to ask if I could bring the car in early. They did not have record of my scheduled appt. I brought the car in around 12:15 when the appt was supposed to be 1pm. I was checked in right away with a whole host of things needing to be done at the tune a of $1100. I asked that we take things off the list, which we did to get my walk out price to $602. I would have appreciated a call before even bringing in the car to say we were looking at a 50K service when all I was expecting was an oil change and response to a B123 service I waited for a shuttle but called a Lyft after 20 min of waiting-no update on when the shuttle may arrive which I later learned they were on lunch break until 12:30. I did use the shuttle to return to pick up my car. They wanted to pick me up before the shuttle service ended at 4. I ready at 3:45 but was picked up at 4. The driver said he wasn’t off until 5. I sat in customer service for another 50 min before my car was ready while three workers (drivers and other) were racing their electronic car in the waiting room. I left a mtg early to accommodate the ending shuttle pickup and to avoid $17 in Lyft fees, but ended up waiting when I could have been picked up a little later. The whole process seemed chaotic. Communication is low, smiles present, but adequate service with attention to time management is low.

Really appreciate Chris fitting me in without making an appointment for maintenance - my appointment origunally was to get my car's EPS gearbox inspected, but when I asked Chris if they could also help me with a motor oil change, he said yes and even offered the full 15 000 maintenance which was a little overdue. Thanks again, Chris! 5 star service!
