I brought my vehicle in for warranty repair which I purchased from Carlaon at time of vehicle purchase at your dealership. Only to be told that some of the issues reported were thought to be caused by bad battery. Despite stating the info center had several online discussions reporting the issue. I replaced the battery as suggested but still have the same issue that I reported with the infocenter (radio, etc.). The rear defrost still does not defrost as it should either. I am curious to see if the other issues I reported resurface as well. As for the recall I was informed about I will take my vehicle to GMC as suggested after the inspection was done at Carlson. Moving forward I will take the vehicle to GMC or ASE certified should other work or warranty work be needed. One of your finance agents informed me that the warranty purchased at Carlson should be honored. I am disappointed that no repair was completed under warranty despite me paying nearly $200.

My 2023 RAV4 was supposed to be ready at 3PM on Tuesday Jan. 30. The work was not completed and I received a text that about $400 worth of work needed to be done, a flow shut off valve, sensor and by pass hose. The car is 10 months old with less than 7000 miles. I was told that the parts were considered consumables. You had the parts in stock but did not fix it. Ended up with a rental car and wasted a lot of time making extra trips to the dealership. Eventually the repairs were done on Wednesday under warranty. This should not have been done Tuesday.

I received an email Jan. 15 offering a synthetic oil change for $59.95. The email said to "See your Service Advisor for details". It said nothing about bringing in the email, or if all I had to do was mention the special to my Advisor. But I did print it and brought it with me. When Christian was almost finished with the check-in and quoted the estimated total for the work, I told him the amount was wrong and showed him the email. He told me that I was supposed to show the email during check-in.
How did I know I had to show it during check-in? There were no directions/instructions included in the email about when to present the email, and to whom, or if I only needed to mention the email. And in my opinion, we were still in the check-in phase.
When the oil change was completed, Christian came and told me that my vehicle was ready. I went to the cashier and paid my bill, and was not offered a location of where my vehicle was parked. I went outside and looked but was not able to see it, so I went back in to the cashier and asked her where it was. She said that it was in the parking lot, then summoned someone in a Toyota uniform who went outside with me and pressed the alarm button on my fob. We were able to find it then.
One more comment: If the dash does not indicate that scheduled maintenance is due, how is the vehicle owner supposed to know if the technician rsset the scheduled maintenance reminder?

Although satisfied I felt the communication could have been better. I received the text at 1134 that my service was complete. Nothing until I went to the desk to inquire the status. The person I approached gave me a blank look. The other person looked up my vehicle information & called the service dept. Within a few minutes my paperwork was brought into the waiting area. No explanation for the delay. My guess. . .the car was in a line to get washed? The convenience of a text is great but only if it is complete.

Your regular check up should have caught the wear on yhe brakes 2 months sooner. They said we had 7mil.left and it was in the red not the green. It went from 7 to 3 mil in only 2 months. Very unlikely. Poor check up. So why should we bri g it in for a check up if they don't really check it??
