Everyone from the initial check-in representative from Elk River, the tech from Texas, the parts counter gentleman, the service cashier, to Brandon Wright - each and everyone of them provided the best customer service. Did replace wheel bearing for front driver side and passenger side. I still do not understand why labor charged for driver side was different from labor charged for passenger side to replace wheel bearing.

First, I’m not sure this is a Scott issue as much as it’s an overall organization issue. This was my second consecutive experience where communication would have saved me time and most likely helped Carlson’s overbooked/understaffed service division out. The first unfortunate experience I had was on a day service was overbooked and my oil change/tire rotation took twice as long as expected. When I asked when my car would be done I was told there had been a scheduling glitch and service was overbooked… I understand these things happen… it would have been amazing to know ahead of time what to expect. It’s not something I should need to ask. Let me know so I can rearrange my day, schedule someone else to pickup my child, etc. The most recent experience was disappointing to say the least. I requested a loaner when I got the call you guys were ready to schedule the recall fixes that were out on my vehicle, so I figured the loaner would be ready to go… fill out paperwork and I’d be on my way. Nope, a half hour after arriving I had to ask where the loaner was and when I could expect to leave as the recalls were going to take 5ish hours. I dropped my vehicle off at 815 and had to call at 4pm to get an update on when the car would be ready. I was shocked to be told that the largest recall, the airbag fix, was unable to be completed because parts were on back order. I sat for half an hour waiting for a loaner and in that time no one realized that parts weren’t there, let alone check before I dropped the car off to give me a heads up. So when I do get a call back, Scott got an earful when I found out what was going on. Scott-props to him for being proactive and getting out in front of my frustrations, took it upon himself to talk to his manager and offer to come get the vehicle and drop a loaner whenever parts are received. So, thanks for offering that and yes, I’ll take you up on the offer, but I’m not going to get the time, etc back that I’ve wasted during my last two experiences at your dealership.
