I was surprised to learn that Toyota does not have a way to test the health status of their hybrid batteries. I asked for such a test but was told that “no such test exists, when it does it dies!” Not very reassuring. So I’m just supposed to cross my fingers and hope it doesn’t die on the middle of nowhere? The manufacturer’s website indicates that that a test can be performed to see if the battery is charging and discharging at the designed levels. So I’m left to wonder if Roberts Toyota doesn’t know how to conduct such a test or they didn’t want to bother with it? Would love to know the answer to that question! Thanks

Although I puchased my vehile from Roberts with the lufe time warraty, Roberts was not able to fix my car. i was told to take it to a Ford dealership where the warranty would be honored. It would have been nice to know that when I made the appointment, told the attendant when making the appijntment that it was for a Navigator that I purchased there. It would have been easy to explain that i had to take it to a Ford dealership before i traveled an hour for the appointment and then waited a couple of hours when the service department told me what was wrong, but they couldnt fux it.
