I brought my 2012 Lexus RX350 to Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys, CA, on May 21, 2024, for an oil change under a paid Lithia Lifetime Oil Plan. Note that Keyes is under Lithia Motors network. After waiting for an hour, the service advisor came to the waiting room and proposed to me with a list including 7 items (labeled as "Found Issues") ranging from tire rotation to cabin filter replacement, brake fluid/coolant exchange, airflow sensor cleaning, throttle body cleaning, to spark plugs replacement. The total cost was almost $2700.00. I found some of these were unnecessary. And especially, regarding the recommended tire rotation, I just had had a tire rotation by a well known tire store (America's Tire) just 2 weeks ago (or 260 miles driven)! The sad thing about this is the service advisor's estimate listing showed the tread depths of both my car rear tires are better than than those of the front tires. This means that the four tires had been installed right (i.e. better tires are placed in the rear) by America's Tire store. I don't know if Keyes' mechanic and/or the service advisor who recommended this tire rotation were properly trained. Therefore, I said to the service advisor that I had just had the tire rotation a couple of weeks ago. And declined all the suggested service items.
What I had wanted when I came to this dealership was the oil change under my purchased Lifetime Oil Plan. And I got it when I left.
I don't feel good about this service consultation at all. Other than its convenient location, service friendliness and a nice waiting area, I am not sure about the integrity of the car service consultation and car diagnostics at this dealership!
It's not worth recommending this to others.

Our service at Lexus was appalling. My husband got there at 10 am for our complimentary 5k miles service and they didn’t even complete the car within the two hour time frame that was promised. A 5k mile service should take a max of 20 minutes as it is checking tire pressure and checking floor mats. After two hours of waiting my husband decided to leave and asked for the car back. Meanwhile there were plenty of customers that arrived after him and left beforehand. My service was not done today and it was dissatisfying. He was the only one left waiting for our car while the technicians all took their lunch break at noon. Then I received a text saying the service was complete when they didn’t even start. I called the service department and ask to speak to the manager there about my dissatisfaction and Jamie never called me back after given an hour window. Beyond not happy
