Only one of two issues was addressed (new microphone for the phone). To drive all the way to Airport Honda and discover the “safety error” messages was not able to show an error code was extremely disappointing. I have numerous pictures of the dash messages. That is one reason why I wanted to leave the car in December. The problem occurs when it is cold. Simon said it is going to be cold next week. He suggested I hang on to the loaner vehicle and see if next week the problem can be duplicated. Had I known this ahead of time it would have saved me from time and money.

I came into the service department getting 2 recalls done. The one recall I was looking forward to was the fuel pump replacement. I’m sooooo glad Honda figured out this defect cause it was so annoying to worry about having my van die suddenly on the road or at a red light because it couldn’t pump the quarter of a tank of gas I had remaining in the tank.
With that said, I’m so glad I arrived at the service department with JUST OVER a quarter of a tank of gas. Because when I picked up my van just in time to run and get my son out of elementary school; I was SHOCKED and PISSED to find out I had 2 miles left of gas in the tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m not a mechanic but it didn’t take me long to figure out that maybe they had to drop the fuel tank to get to the pump……..BUT professionalism hasn’t been instilled in everyone because I would have liked to been told, “sir, we apologize up front but we had to empty your fuel tank and you will need to get fuel right away because you’re ON EMPTY!!” Thank God your service center is located a stones throw from a gas station cause I was able to get some right away! Hey wait you’re telling me there’s a gas station that close and HONDA couldn’t afford to drive the vehicle there themselves and replenish the fuel that was lost? What if I had arrived with a full tank worth around $60 of gas……I’d turn right around and demand a gift card. Let’s just say considerate and professional should not be included in the description of this service center. I beg to have a better end to my service in the future!!
