Patty Majeski coordinated my service requests professionally and efficiently. She made sure the service tech diagnosed my start up issue and secondary problem of a water pump. Both issues were addressed. Patty was in constant contact with me as the tech assessed the problems. She Informed me of warranty work that was covered and was thorough in explaining the billing. This was all done while working under the normal pressure of phone calls, customers waiting and lots of paperwork. I always say “ people buy from people”. Patty is a key player in my continued satisfaction with Sullivan Toyota. Please make sure Patty gets this feedback. She deserves it!

I had a 3:15p appt for an alignment & oil change on my 2022 Toyota 4runner. I was told there would be a 1.5hr wait time. I was told there was a staffing shortage and that’s why it would take that long. I said that was fine & I proceeded to wait in your very comfortable, well-appointed customer waiting area. After waiting 2 hours without any update I checked in with Patty and she said I would be called next and that I should return to the waiting area. An additional 20 minutes passed, and Patty came into the waiting room to update me. When Patty came in to get me she asked if my car had ever been in an accident and continued by informing me your Technician was unable to get an alignment. I was upset with the 2.5hr wait time & a mechanical question being asked by a Service Agent…there was no context for this question. I answered that the car had not been in an accident. Patty asked if I could leave the car overnight and the technician would attempt an alignment again in the morning. I was frustrated and upset but agreed to leave the car. The alignment was done the following morning, I was called and came to pick up the car. I’d like to say that Patty is a professional who thoroughly looks after all the details of paperwork and appointment follow-ups with your customers. Thursday and Friday may have been particularly busy, understaffed days. I get it. That’s why I said “no problem” to the long 1.5 hour wait. What was difficult, was hearing from Patty how overworked, stressed, exhausted she was. I’m sure she was. The long 1.5 hour wait time jumping to a 2.5 wait time is totally unacceptable.
The old adage, “the customer comes first” should still ring true and personal workplace problems should not be put on the customer. It really made my experience an uncomfortable one. If you were not staffed to service my vehicle at the appointment time you gave me, then don’t offer an appointment.
