I brought my 2023 RAV4 in for an oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. The wait was over 2 hours and we were not kept updated. My husband finally asked for an update and we were told that they were just finishing up. Another half hour goes by when we were told it was done. So we go outside to pick up our car and start home. My husband then noticed that instead of an April inspection sticker we were given a March sticker. We couldn’t turn around then because we had to get home for an appointment. I called Brewer Toyota and talked to the woman that took care of us. She explained that each technician could put what date he wanted on the sticker. I said that has never happened to me before. I said we had an April sticker before and that is what we should have been given. I have always been told we could bring the car in the month before and still get a sticker that was the same month. She was not at all helpful and said each technician can do what he wanted. She said she could talk to her manager about it for me and I said that I wanted the manager involved. She then called me back later and said I could get the correct sticker. She said the manager has said that it has happened before with other people. Then she asked me when I could come in. I said I would be right in. She said no because the wait was at least 2 hours. I should have been able to go right back and get the correct stickers. So I had to go in at 7:30 this morning to get this done. I don’t live close and it was very inconvenient. I asked her why Toyota didn’t require all there technicians to follow the same rules. My family will not be coming back to Brewer Toyota again. It’s a shame because we do love the RAV4. There was no apology and I wasted a lot of time and gas.
