My appointment was at 730 am. When I got there he told me it would be about an hour. I’ve already made plans for someone to pick me up that morning but since he told me it wouldn’t take long I told them to not pick me up. 2 hours later I a notification for the multi point inspection. We spoke and he said the car was done and my tire is holding air after being patched up. I decide to do the tune up and engine filter replacement. I went to check on my car around 1130am. He said they had it up and almost done. I checked and hour later. He went to check my once again and never returned with an update. By 130 I am speaking with another gentleman and my cars still isn’t done. By that time he is rushing out the door because I’ve been waiting so long. He was helpful and kept apologizing. Said something about waiting on parts. If that was the case why couldn’t Nicholas A. Say that to me??!
In the end I missed an entire workday, I was charged for an additional filter I did not ask for, which I still have to check and see if it actually got done, my car shifting weird, and my tire sensors don’t show on my screen. They don’t told me to drive the car and it should appear and it never did. Nicholas **** **** in communicating and shouldn’t even be allowed to be an advisor.

When I booked my appointment for a warranty fuel issue (common on this the Rav4), I was told you all would need it for the day to fix the issue. It is super frustrating as the customer to arrange transportation on both ends to have this done (and be told it would be done), only to be later told you all don't have the parts on hand to fix it. When the appointment was booked the exact known issue was communicated. Stephanie said you all had to verify the issue first, which I understand. BUT YOU HAVE TO TELL THE CUSTOMER THIS ON THE INITIAL CALL. Since that was the case, it would have made way more sense for me to hang out for 30-60 minutes to troubleshoot it to verify the problem. This was all around a huge waste of time, poor communication, and a hour plus of my wife’s time driving me. Unimpressed!
As a side note, an incredibly similar thing happened on the previous service. I was given a verbal quote over the phone for someone who tapped my bumper. When I got there, the service rep apologized but basically said, whoever I talked to before misled me. There seems to be a pattern of initial appointments personnel not taking enough information or providing inaccurate information setting your customers up for frustration.
I used to really like this shop. Now I only seem to visit when necessary (recall/warranty).

No service manager was in charge of my car. At 5:30 after waiting two hours, I walked to the desk, and none of them even knew there was a person still waiting for a car. The two men on duty asked each other if they had my file, and both said, “NO!” One of them hopped to and looked me up on the computer. They sent me home in a loaner. I had to go back this morning to get my vehicle. Several extra hours of my life taken as I am packing to move to Florida in two weeks.
