At 8:15, I dropped my car off and was told the service would take 2.5-3 hours. I said I would return at 11:15. I got delayed. There was no communication from Toyota so I called at noon. At that time I was told that "service was really backed up" and had not yet started working on my car. How can you in good conscious not communicate a FOUR HOUR DLELAY with a customer? What if I had returned at 11:15 expecting my car to be done, only to be told you had not yet started it. I understand delays happen, but you MUST communicate this with your customers. This was my first service experience with you. Based on this experience, I will not trust Toyota to correctly estimate the duration of any future services.
