I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment and checked in my car for an express service that was supposed to take a little over an hour. 1.5 hours later I went to check on the status of my car and service hadnt even started. I had to leave for an appointment elsewhere. No one told me the whole time I was there that they were running behind. They said I could come back and get squeezed in whenever, which is good, but there was no communication and I wasted 1.5 hours with no result.

My problem was not resolved to my expectations. I need to wait for another snowfall to see if my rear defroster still does not clear my rear window. I was told there was nothing wrong. I Do not believe that is completely true. The center of the window did not melt. This is a brand new car!

Appt and service was good. However was surprised that when I told the person because I live on dirt roads my new 2024 Tacoma needed an oil change every 5000nmiles per the manual he tried to convince me no that's not true, only every 10,000 miles which I know from a Totota tech is not true. Driving mostly on dirt roads and adding in the seasonal change with tremendous temperature changes every 5,000 is a must if you want engine to last 300,000 miles. He also couldn't answer any questions about the TPMS sensor system and how to reset it, what to do when rotatong new tires, using the spare etc.

Based on the description of how we expressed concerns regarding the electric system and the battery we think Toyota should have done a more explicit complex test on the battery and electrical system. We went to start our car and it didn’t even start - evidence that something more complex is going on here. I believe my wife explained the similar experience that we left the car sitting for a week while we were away but then it started immediately. We drove 30 minutes to Milton and turned off the car after which the car did not start again and needed a jump. When the car goes in in two weeks from now, we would like it to be more seriously checked out. Please deduct the $18 simple battery test from that when you do it. I was confused by being billed $177 too much. This is not a criticism of Charity rather of Toyota‘s billing system which appeared to be charging me for $300 and then when the charge went through charged for $177 more than that? Charity quickly called me to rectify the issue. Charity seemed to be on top of stuff today. we were generally placed with her.

I wasn’t told when scheduling my appointment and you being told that I was going to wait for the car that taking care of the recall was going to take a couple hours on top of the time for the oil change and inspection. And then not having parts you needed for the recall work so I have to make another trip up from Rutland. Couldn’t someone have had figured that out ahead of time so I could have rescheduled the appointment to have it all done in one day and one trip??
