This was my first visit to Heritage Toyota, after having taken ownership of a ‘14 RAV-4, back two years ago. It was a very positive experience & service consultant Eldin Muhic was very helpful in arranging a ride for me to get to work after dropping the vehicle off that morning. Strongly encourage that Heritage Toyota re-establish your customer courtesy van. I understand that it got discontinued during the Covid 19 pandemic. This seems a universal accommodation for today’s vehicle dealerships.

The mechanics were unable to fix the problem and still charged an exorbitant amount for work not completed and kept the car an extra day to not fix this so we had to pick it up on Christmas Eve and change our plans.
It would have been better to give car back and then rescheduled to when mechanics had time to fix it instead of doing a hack job.

I was told they would try to get work done on the day of my appt and at 3:00 they still had not taken the car into the shop. That’s not what I was expecting or desiring for my own schedule as I dropped off the car for the day at 9 am

My car did not pass inspection and I was told the parts were on back order. I was told they could get not Toyota brand parts faster and less expensive which is what I agreed to. My appointment was on a Friday and I was told I would get a call Monday or Tuesday with a new quote and ETA. By Wednesday, I still hadn’t heard anything so I called. I needed to call twice to get confirmation there were parts, but the woman who I was speaking with could not confirm if they were the less expensive parts. I still have not gotten confirmation on that or been given an updated price estimate. I will be calling around to other mechanics to see if I can get an actual quote for the work.

It would have been nice to know that there service department was a little behind (an hour and a half behind) my appointment was at 9 at 1030 I inquired about my car and was asked about the cracked rear light and was shown a different car. Due to this I learned my car wasn’t even started yet. If there was such a delay I could have run my errands in the time it took for them to actually get to my car. I finally left a little after 11 two hours after my appointment. Also to be quoted 500 to replace my rear light case seems a little extreme and I am pretty sure I have some sort of plan that cuts down on that cost but no one could be bothered to look at my plan about that or the air filter that was replaced. For once I am dissatisfied with the service and lack of care.

I was ok with all of that until I called this morning to ask someone when I could pick up the car. Bianca answered and hung up on me twice. This really pissed me off and I don’t think someone like Bianca should be working at customer service.
