My inspection appointment was 3:45 on Friday after 5 I was asked if I’d mind coming back on Monday. Which wasn’t great, well I do understand staffing issues I had to say I drove almost an hour to get there and that didn’t work for me. The staff did make it work so I didn’t have to come back it was still a disappointing experience compared to other times I’ve been in for service.

I came in for a tire rotation on our new 2024 Prius with 4800 miles on it. Instead of moving the factory tires front to back and vice versa, I brought a separate set of brand new winter tires on rims that were factory balanced. My presumption was that bolting on the winter tires in place of the originals would be covered as a free tire rotation. $90+ later, I have learned that’s not the case. My conclusion now is that all future tire rotations will cost me $90+ because I anticipate doing them when I swap winter and summer tires. This feels like a bait and switch. I drove into So Burlington from Underhill and then waited about 90 minutes for this service. I have a local mechanic less than 3 minutes from my home who would have done this job for less than half your charge. The final straw in this long saga was the service technician explaining to me how he was doing us a favor by claiming this visit as one of the Toyota provided tire rotations so we would still get one additional Heritage provided tire rotation for free! I’m not a happy camper about this and I will be telling all my other Toyota owner friends about this experience.

The only feedback I have is I have received a variety of welcomes when I pull in to the garage. Should I wait in my car until someone walks over? Should I get out and walk over to the counter? It always feels a bit awkward not having a clear expectation.

My only complaint would be that I left my car at 8:30 for the day and showed up at 4:30 or so to get it and they said they had just brought it in to do it. I was the last person to leave I think. So I wasn’t thrilled about that.
