We were happy with all the service on our Honda Civic except for one item! We were charged $82.98 to put my wife's heat shield back on her car. It had come loose and was about to fall off after an oil change. I didn't have the proper screws to put it back on, so I removed it. We felt this was a really high price for a simple fix. If we had known it was this costly, we would not have had it put back on! We were not told the charge before they did it
We didn't know a couple screws cost that much!

The main reason I set up the appointment was to have the recall on my breaking system taken care of. It was not. Apparently someone didn’t know what part to get. Fortunately, my husband had the day off and brought my car over for the service. If I would have had to take time off of work to bring the car over I would not be happy at all. I am not sure who dropped the ball here but it was very unprofessional.

This last time I brought in the Pilot was to correct something causing several caution lights to be on constantly. It was covered under warranty and did not affect the driving. All is corrected but there stills remains one item that is different. The auto position of the lights does not work during daylight hours now, we have turn to lights.

Conversation began with something like old pads were cheap and not mounted correctly. Then back peddled when I reminded him KAW did the work. Gave a BS answer on reason for changing brake fluid and charging $180. Gave another BS answer about why we were initially charged a $159 diagnostic fee to say brakes were not good which is one of the reasons I brought the van in! Didn’t need a test ran to tell that! Finally got cost down from over 800 to 615 for a front brake pad job that could have been done elsewhere for less than half that. So no, not real thrilled.
