I appreciated the diagnosis but please try to prioritize must-do items vs nice-to-have. Front transfer case seal has had a very slow leak for 8 years whereas the rear wheel bearing needs replacing ASAP. Thank you!

I don't care for the digital version of the vehicle inspection. The service advisor doesn't even go over it with you. If you've unsubscribed for any reason (e.g. too many unsolicited texts) you don't even get them? I'm sure this is a benefit to the dealership at the expense of the customer.

The service man told me that, if it was his car, he would reassemble the traction battery cooling system that had come apart, because a replacement was a thousand dollars. Still he warned me it might come apart in 10 minutes. And it did. I conclude the system was poorly designed. It should not fail at 53000 miles. And replacement is not covered by the gold level repair package I bought. I’ve only owned the car a few months. So I’m not a satisfied Toyota customer. But, as to the service man, I think recommended the right gamble, though I lost.
