Toyota didn't listen to me when I explained the diagnosis provided by a trusted technician. They recommended $400 of potentially unnecessary repairs. They would not talk to me in person, using only texting to communicate. I got no explanation of the root cause of the leaking axle. I need a repair shop I can trust and will inform me of the status of my car so I can have confidence driving it when I drive to the desert or high into the mountains. I didn't get the impression that I could trust the information I was getting.

Usually the service manager leaves me with a copy of the inspection report for my records Didn’t get one. And usually he goes over it thoroughly. Today I guess he was really busy. He quickly went over it and left with the report. Otherwise, everything was great, as usual.

I was in a panic when my beloved Prius would not properly start. The dashboard lights came on but it would not let me drive the car. I called Toyota and asked to speak to a technician and I got Jaime on the phone and explained what was happening. He told me that they can look at it and let me know and quickly set up an appt for me for next morning. After I dropped off the car at 8 am and went on my way, he called me at 10:45 with a complete update and recommendation. We discussed the most important issues and he told me what definitely needs to be changed. He also patiently explained the start issue of the car. I went with his recommendation and by 1:15 pm the car was ready. I truly appreciated his knowledge and expertise and patience. Pls acknowledge him and his work. Thank you.
