I came in because Lewis Service said I needed the back brakes replaced when I was in last week for an oil change. With your 299.95 special on brakes, I decided to get them done. Steve said it would take over 2 hours, so I took the shuttle. Steve called about 10 am and said I did not need the brake job just a little grinding. I called back at noon since I had not heard or received a text. Steve was not at his desk. They left him a message to call me. I called again at 1. And found the car was done from the receptionist. I ask the for the shuttle. When I went to pay for it, the total was 308.04. About $50. Less than having the complete brakes replaced. I was very surprised that Steve would recommend this minor brake adjustment compared to the full replacement for just a difference of $50. And I have never had it take so long. I do not know if it took the mechanic 4 hours compared to what I was told. Or if my car just got lost in the shuffle. Overall, it was very disappointing compared to what I was expecting.

I had this same problem fixed under warranty once. Lewis Toyota used aftermarket parts and, as a result the problem returned. Now, because of faulty parts I had to pay approximately $3000.00 out of pocket to repair a problem that should have been covered by my platinum warranty. Having said that, I think Scott and the service team did their best, I simply don't think a customer who pays for platinum warranty service should be left holding the bill because Lewis Toyota used substandard parts.

No connection needed. Beth got us through just fine. I wanted to say, however, that with a project of this type and the fact that it took a long time (almost 5 weeks we were without our vehicle)we would have appreciated two things. First, an every other day or every third day check-in just to let us know how things were progressing. Going almost a week with out hearing anything from you was a little frustrating. The second thing is that, again, after all that time, it would have been nice to have had the vehicle dusted/vacuumed/washed before we picked it up. You obviously have those abilities because you do that with each sold car. We are very happy that you took and completed the repair. Thank you.
