I was there waiting from 11 am to 2:30. My car was ready over the tech’s lunch hour, but no one else came to wait on me in the lobby. After the tech returned from lunch he discussed with me that I needed a new battery. So then I had to wait for that. If someone had talked to me over his lunch hour, that question would have been answered quicker. None of the text messages about my car were working.

I was very satisfied with our visit today. Steve listened to our concerns and made sure the job was done. One of my favorite survey questions is from the Disney company where they ask whether or not you would hire the person in question. It has always struck me that this is perhaps the best question to ask. Along those lines, yes, I would absolutely hire Steve.

I brought my vehicle in to have the back latch checked as it was not working. I waited there for 2 hours just to find out that it hadn't even been looked at yet so I got a ride home. When I returned to pick up the vehicle I was handed an outrageous $106 bill which I was never told I would be charged for just having my car looked at. I am very unhappy with the service provided today. Not only that, I was informed it would cost $980 to have the latch replaced. Your service and prices are unreasonable. As a proud Toyota owner, I have had all my vehicles serviced there since this location opened. I feel I no longer value your service.

I understand you are working through a new system, but when I have an 8:30 appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and overall inspection and I am not out the door until after 11:30, I am extremely unhappy. I was physically there, sitting in the waiting room and at no time did anyone come and give me an update. I received a text a little after 10:00 to look at the service update, which I did. After logging in and looking through the report I realized they were asking if I wanted the cabin air filters changed. Yes, thank you. I think around 10:45 I finally asked when I my van would be ready. The person to ask was on break, which is fine, everyone needs a break. He came back and checked and assured me they’d get me out as soon as possible. Which ended up being around 11:30.
Yes, I did have other plans that got moved when I realized that it was going to be at least two hours. That’s not a big deal. What is a big deal to me is that I was the one who had to ask questions. As a retired IT professional I understand the beauty of systems that allow you to bypass the carbon units (people) when possible. Efficiencies of scale, blah blah blah, but never forget that there is a human being sitting in your waiting area for three hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I am rethinking my loyalty to your service department, at least of simple in and out in an hour or so service. What happened yesterday was seriously not cool.
When I have an appointment time and I am waiting it does not seem too much to expect to have my vehicle up on a rack and being serviced within a half hour or so of that time. If you overbooked, well that’s just poor business practice.
