I set up an appointment 2 weeks in advance. I arrived 10 minutes before my time. I was having the tires rotated. Two hours later I was still waiting to hear about my car. I went to the desk to ask where my car was and had three people looking for it. There was no paperwork Saying it was done and no vehicle being worked on. I turned and saw my vehicle was parked outside by customer service. The person working with my car came out and apologized. My question is, why make an appointment when I still had to wait?! Rotating tires doesn’t take TWO HOURS!! But also make sure to let the customer know when the car is ready. Not a good experience today.

The new computer system was not working adequately. I was sent a text that my car was done. I could see it parked outside but it took a half hour for the technician to get to me and check me out. Don’t text if it produces false expectations

Justin Ganser was my service person. I brought my car in because the battery had died (third time this year). I needed to have the battery and starting system checked. Today, I was told the work on my car was done, but, then learned that the battery had never been checked. I was told since the car started today, they decided it did not need to be checked. Yikes! I am very nervous about driving my car now. I've been with Smart Motors for many decades. Do I need to get my car checked somewhere else? I believe Justin was surprised about this and do not blame him for this complete lack of service for my car today. But, I cannot tell you why it was not addressed.

Today’s experience was kind of a cluster. I checked in at 11:30am for my 11:40am appointment. It was just a oil change and rotation. Check in was easy at the express lanes and I forgot the advisor/ technician’s name. I went over to the sales side to see the new cars. I went back to express service side and told the front desk lady that I needed a new windshield wiper due to it falling off in the car wash. I went back to sales. Around 12:30pm they called to verify I wanted the oil change due to having synthetic oil. It was a little early in the cycle but I told them to proceed anyway. I walked over at 1pm and I saw my vehicle was ready and parked against the wall. I asked the front desk guy if they had called my name as I was on the sales side of the building. He checked and said the advisor was working on my paperwork. We still didn’t know who the advisor was as his name didn’t appear on my paperwork. I waited 20 minutes and then told them I needed to pay and leave. The front desk guy went into overdrive and figured out the order for the windshield wiper was bogging things down in the computer. They got the wiper and installed it and finally got me out of there at 1:40pm. Total time at dealership was 2:10. There was definitely a disconnect on the paperwork with the advisor name not appearing and the windshield wiper messing up the final paperwork. The front desk guy did a great job once he figured out what was wrong. This wasn’t the usual Toyota experience that I’m accustomed to, but I will be back for my next service.

Greg was very apologetic about Toyota not having our part. My car was kept 2 days and no part either day. It seems that could have been determined ahead of time. I wasn’t put out too much since I’m retired but it was frustrating.

I don’t need to be contacted. My complaint is that I made an appointment because I have to take off work and want to keep my unpaid time to a minimum. I allowed 90 minutes for an hour appointment, understanding there could be delays. However, it wasn’t until I asked for the status after waiting 80 minutes that I was told they were just pulling it in to the bay. I would’ve appreciated being told of delays before this point. I know they rushed to get my vehicle serviced as quickly as possible, which I appreciated, but I hope it was done properly. My main complaint is no one communicating with me until I asked for an update and unsure how there was already such a long delay for a 9:40am appointment.
